Begin from home. Arrive with a foundation.

The online phase starts on 1 September 2026. Students begin German language preparation and academic orientation from their home country before relocating to Germany.

SIX AREAS OF PREPARATION

The programme begins here.

The online phase is a structured educational programme. It is not a waiting period. Students who engage with it fully arrive in Düsseldorf/Wuppertal with a language foundation, an initial understanding of German academic culture and a clearer picture of what lies ahead.

For families, the online phase provides an early window into how the programme works in practice. the structure, the communication, and the standards Oliver Grüter applies throughout.

German Language

Structured instruction from the beginning. grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and speaking. Progress is monitored throughout.

Academic Orientation

How German universities work. What is expected of students. How teaching and assessment differ from other educational contexts.

Study Skills

Tools for self-directed study, time management and academic organisation.

Intercultural Preparation

German culture, social norms, daily life and the practical realities of living in Germany.

KEY DATES

The online phase allows language preparation to begin while visa processing is underway. No time is lost during the administrative period before departure.
