Phase 1. Online
From 1 September 2026. German language preparation and academic orientation from your home country, while your visa is being processed.
Phase 2. Düsseldorf/Wuppertal
From 8 January 2027. Intensive preparation in person at the Gatebridge campus in Düsseldorf/Wuppertal: language, academic skills and personal readiness.
Phase 3. University
Students who fulfil the required language and academic conditions are supported in their transition to Hochschule Niederrhein. The university makes the final admission decision.
